Allison C. Bagley, CPA
Owner & CEO
I have over 20 years of accounting and tax experience have worked in many different environments in both private and public accounting. Over the years I have worked and consulted for several CPAs and businesses helping with all levels of bookkeeping and accounting from basic to complex accounting situations. I owned and operated a local day spa for many years giving me excellent insight on small business operations. I thrive myself on keeping a strong relationship with my clients and open communication with them and their bookkeepers.
I was born and raised in the Santa Cruz community and currently reside in Corralitos with my partner and four fur babies. When I’m not working, I am enjoying time with my dogs, hiking, reading historical fiction and murder mysteries, and spending quality time with my family. I also and am currently the Treasurer for the non-profit, Hollister Hills Off-Road Association.

Chris Kootstra
Office Administrator
Chris is our newest hire, having just graduated from San Jose State University. He previously worked in banking, giving him a great starting point to continue to learn more about how the tax system works, and how it applies to both your business and personal life.
​
Outside of work, Chris is passionate about staying active and enjoys working out, as well as attending any of his favorite artist’s concerts. If he’s not doing anything outside, you might catch him playing his favorite competitive video games. Don’t be afraid to ask if he has any movie, show, or book recommendations. Chris’ goal is to bring a detail-oriented approach to taxes, and to continually improve our technology to provide the best quality service and assistance throughout your tax adventure.

Jen Bagley
Bookkeeper and Tax Associate
Jen Bagley is our New York State-based bookkeeper and tax professional, bringing a wealth of experience from the non-profit sector, where she honed her skills in bookkeeping and organizational management. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Modern Literature Studies, which has contributed to her strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA, Jen is thrilled to work alongside her baby sister, Allison (fondly known as "Lissa"), and the talented team at A. Bagley, CPA. One of the perks she enjoys most? Getting to start her day three hours later than her West Coast colleagues!
A meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail, Jen ensures precision and efficiency in every aspect of her work. Outside of the office, she’s passionate about reading, spending quality time with her family, diving into video games, and playing billiards.​​

Frank Nicroli, E.A.
Senior Tax Accountant

Frank brings over a decade of experience as a Senior Accountant, tax planner, and bookkeeper, along with the expertise of an Enrolled Agent. His professional focus includes tax preparation, accounting, and in-depth tax research, ensuring clients receive accurate, comprehensive, and strategic financial guidance.

Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance Management from The City University of New York, Staten Island, and maintains his Enrolled Agent license, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of tax expertise and compliance.

When he’s not busy helping clients, Frank enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family, creating memories that inspire his passion for work and life.

Mary O. Dixon
Office Manager
A retired PVUSD school teacher and an amazing mother Mary stepped in to assist Allison in 2022 after she started off the tax season with Covid and other health complications. Mary thought she was coming in to help organize and scan documents but she has ended up wearing every hat that has been needed including assisting in tax preparation.

While she prefers to be out of the limelight and didn't want to be mentioned on our website (or pictured) she continues to be a vital support for our company making sure things run smoothly and sharing her calm and caring demeanor. She hopes to retire (again) someday soon from the tax business.

Bryan Sandovskiy
Tax Intern
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, spent time in Las Vegas and the Bay Area, and relocated to Santa Cruz in 2022 for college. Now living in the Santa Cruz Mountains, I enjoy traveling, hiking, music, and good conversations. My girlfriend and I recently adopted two kittens who have completely taken over our lives in the best way.

Professionally, I have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in cash control, revenue auditing, and inventory management. As a former Cash Control Assistant Manager in the entertainment industry, I handled revenue reports, financial audits, and daily operations. I also have experience in inventory reconciliation and financial documentation, strengthening my skills in organization, leadership, and problem-solving.

I hold an Associate’s degree in Business from the College of San Mateo and am pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration with a double concentration in Corporate Accounting and Finance. I’m CPA-eligible and eager to continue growing in the field.

Hi, I'm Ariana Pacheco! I'm from San Diego and currently studying Business Management Economics with a concentration in Accounting at UC Santa Cruz. I’m passionate about expanding my knowledge and always eager to learn while recognizing the progress I’ve made along the way.

In my free time, I love spending time with friends, discovering new coffee shops for studying, and relaxing at the beach. I’m excited about the opportunity to grow in the field of accounting and hope to bring a friendly, welcoming smile to the office every day!​
